About Mini Cat Town
Mini Cat Town is an other place in Palo Alto, California. It is listed at 429 California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94306, which places it among the local businesses of Palo Alto that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Places that do not fit a cafe, bakery, tea, breakfast or nearby-store category land here: tourist attractions, parks and museums with a cafe on site, and unrelated businesses that came in through an import or a Google Maps match. Attraction cafes usually keep the venue's hours and may require admission to reach, so check before making the trip; park kiosks and museum coffee counters are often seasonal. Other listings are kept so that an old address or phone number still resolves and can be re-filed into the right category later.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12β7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, minicattown.org.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 48 reviews, which is a strong result for an other place in Palo Alto and suggests consistent service.

I came after work to get kitten therapy. The volunteer at the window was kind and helpful. The kittens were curious and playful. I was able to sit on the floor and have multiple cats come up to me for scratches and pets. $15 for 30 minutes of serotonin in Palo Alto is a deal. I get to help socialize kittens, get play time with multiple kittens and help my community??? They can continue to take my money. I hope they introduce wfh deals similar to the students deals they have. I will continue to come back. This is a cat shelter that is supported by volunteers. I have noticed volunteers interact with the cats and do full on cleaning at the end of the day. Keeping a space 100% clean with at least a dozen kittens and people coming in and out is not feasible. It is reasonably clean with the amount of cats and people that are in that space. If people see the space needing some additional cleaning I hope it encourages them to volunteer instead of criticize.

Huge space with adorable kittens up for adoption! We had a great time visiting and playing with the kitties while in Palo Alto. We adopted our kitties from a place like this (in NM) and it is so much better for them than a shelter. It was clean, full of their necessities, and plenty of toys and comfy spots for the kitties to rest and play.

Sashay into 429 California Ave and werk, because this is not your average cat cafΓ©, darlings! Itβs a full-blown 501(c)(3) nonprofit thatβs rescued over 3,500 neonatal kittens since three fabulous sisters started this whole empire back in 2015. Thatβs right, this operation went from feeding strays with allowance money to a four-location kitten kingdom. A rescue realness story if Iβve ever heard one. To the queen complaining about paying admission just to supervise your kids β sis, every dollar of that fee is going straight to spay/neuter surgeries and saving orphaned kittens, not into anyoneβs Birkin fund. Thatβs called charity, not a scam. Also, category is: let the cat come to YOU. These are tiny rescued babies, not props for your Instagram Reel. Sit pretty, be patient, and the kitties will grace you with their presence when theyβre ready. Consent, henny, it applies to cats too. 10/10, would strut back. Support the mission, adopt donβt shop. π

My friend and I visited mini cat town today and upon entering, we walked up to the window where one of the staff members opened the window and just stared at us. No greeting or instructions. Overall the experience inside was ok. The wobbly cat Scrappy seemed neglected. He was smelly, dirty, and had a piece of poop stuck on him. He was also having a hard time on the hardwood floor, he was slipping around a lot. I let the staff know about the issue and three of them surrounded his pen and did nothing. Our time was up at that point so we aren't sure if the staff ever cleaned him up. The other cats seemed happy but it was very disheartening to see a lack of care for Scrappy. The staff were also very awkward on our way out. We weren't sure what to do with our time stamp lanyard.

Most fun!!!!!! What cuties! You just have to be very still and relaxed for the cats to sniff you and then play around you. Definitely most appropriate to go in with total chill vibes so the kitties donβt feel uncomfy! The cost is reasonable & the place is spotless. I am shocked I did not come home with six new kittens lol.
